The 13,000-square-foot Spa Esmeralda encompasses both indoor treatment rooms and outdoor cabanas. Just past the tranquil, Zen-inspired lobby, a corridor leads to the spa garden, where cascading waterfalls and tropical flora surround personal treatment areas. Precious stones are used as both inspiration and decoration throughout the facility, most notably in the couple’s room, whose design incorporates genuine mother-of-pearl. Bamboo and organic wood accents provide soothing contrast. The menu of services includes desert-inspired, luxurious therapies for the face and body. Rehydrating body treatments are designed to counteract the effects of the desert sun such as the signature Thaiyurveda Herbal Massage, which involves the application of therapeutic herbal compresses in conjunction with acupressure massage. Male spa guests enjoy a men-only lounge with comfy wooden chaises, in addition to a special menu of treatments.
